Die ALPSTAR-Phase-A/B1-Studie für eine maßgeschneiderte X-Band-SAR-Mission mit optionaler ELINT-Fähigkeit zielt darauf ab, eine technisch realisierbare, eigenständige europäische Architektur für das Weltraumsegment zu definieren, die auf die sich abzeichnenden Nutzerbedürfnisse und das föderierte ALPSTAR-Konzept abgestimmt ist.
